Handmade Stoneware Candle Holder | Sculptural Ceramic Candlestick | Triple Glaze

Handmade sculptural stoneware candle holder, created and glazed by hand in my small studio in Portugal.

This piece is made from high-fire stoneware clay and finished with three different glazes, layered to create the deep brown, black and warm natural tones you see across the surface.

PLEASE NOTE: The price is for ONE candle holder.

The glaze moves differently during firing, creating drips, transitions and small variations in colour and texture. This means the final pattern can never be completely repeated — each candlestick has its own character.

The tall, architectural shape makes it beautiful both with a candle and simply as a decorative ceramic object. I especially love the contrast between the raw, earthy stoneware tones and the dark glossy glaze.

Because every stage is done by hand, you may notice slight asymmetry, irregularities in the surface, glaze movement and other small traces of the making process. I consider these part of the character of handmade ceramics rather than imperfections.

CARE

Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth.
Remove any candle wax gently without using sharp tools on the glazed surface.
